About The Clinician

Michelle Rousseau, PT, DPT, CLT

Owner & Physical Therapist

Michelle has worked as a physical therapist in Vermont for nearly a decade primarily in outpatient. She graduated with a degree in biology from St. Michael’s College where she played on the D2 ice hockey team. She went on to graduate with a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Vermont.

She has taken several continuing education courses to expand her physical therapy knowledge and keep up to date on research. She completed an extensive training to become a certified lymphedema therapist. She strives to help individuals achieve their goals and listen to their concerns.

Michelle grew up playing various sports her entire life. After college, she started training for triathlons. Physical therapy helped her rehabilitate a knee injury to allow her to complete an Ironman. She decided at that time she wanted to combine her love of being active and love of anatomy with becoming a physical therapist.

In her free time, you can find Michelle chasing after her young children with her husband, walking her dogs Moguls and Summit, hiking, running, skiing and occasionally playing pickup hockey.
